LAVAGXRL, the Boston-based producer, singer, rapper, and songwriter, channels the chaos of modern life into a deeply personal musical journey. Originally from Washington, DC, they moved to Boston to study music, drawing inspiration from emo, hip-hop, and jazz to create a glitchy, atmospheric sound. LAVAGXRL’s debut album, Faith in Chaos (2023), is a reflection of their unrestrained creativity, and serves as both a cathartic release and a source of spiritual healing. LAVAGXRL embraces melancholy, exploring the healing power of music and connection, while also confronting themes of trauma, anxiety, and emotional vulnerability. Faith in Chaos is an essential reminder that despite the absurdity that surrounds us, there is beauty in simply being alive.
