A yearly tradition at Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam! This is the final slam of our Most Valuable Poet (MVP) Slam events, which take place every January. The first-place winner will receive a $500 cash prize and bragging rights as our 2025 MVP. The runner-up will receive a $100 cash prize.
The eight finalists (four from each of our two previous semifinals) competing for the title are Art, Christopher Johnson, Elisheva Azareal, Mr. Orange Live, Ramon D, René, Rudy Ru, and TruKwene.
