Michael Holley is an author, television broadcaster and producer, poet, and professor. He credits the Lizard Lounge’s Poetry Jam for inspiring some of the most meaningful work of his career. Both Blake Newman and Jeff Robinson contributed to the cross-genre poetry festival, CipherSpace, that he helped conceptualize. It featured collaborations with poets, dancers, singers, illustrators, and musicians. Holley’s poetry draws from and is informed by each of those disciplines.
