Muddy Ruckus is a “darkly inventive” rock duo according to the New York Music Daily. Guitarist Ryan Flaherty and drummer Erika Stahl of Portland, Maine play a grungy style of railroad indie punk blues. This stripped-down power-duo blends rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit, and is known for a full rock band sound.

Fancy Trash, an indie folk band, has been at the forefront of the thriving music scene in Northampton, Massachusetts for over two decades. The band is driven by singer and songwriter Dave Houghton’s dynamic blend of folk and indie rock influences, characterized by his soulful vocals and expressive guitar work, which have earned them critical acclaim and a devoted following. The band released The Pushkin Sessions in November 2023 — a collection of 15 songs recorded live-in-the-studio in 2007 and lost in a storage bin for 16 years. Since their formation in 2002, Fancy Trash has toured extensively and shared the stage with notable acts such as The Jayhawks, Deer Tick, DeVotchKa, Langhorne Slim, and Jesse Malin. However, it’s the band’s electrifying live shows and raw, emotional songwriting that make them stand out in a crowded indie scene. With a dedicated fanbase and a reputation for delivering unforgettable live shows, Fancy Trash continues to push the boundaries of what folk music can be with their unique sound and performances.
