The Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam Most Valuable Poet Slam Semifinal #1
A Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam tradition! Each year, from September through December, our slam poets compete to qualify for the Most Valuable Poet (MVP) Slam events, which take place every January. Sixteen Poets qualify for the two semi-final slam events, followed by the MVP Finals.
This first MVP Semifinal Slam will feature Art Collins, Finn Flood, Michael Warrior Bonds, Mike Savadian, Myles Taylor, Navah the Buddaphliii, Tru Kwene, and Will Leonard.
These slams are super-popular and always showcase phenomenal spoken word talent. The top four poets from tonight and the top four from the second semifinal will move on to the finals on 1/26/25.
