The Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam Most Valuable Poet Slam Semifinal #2
The second of our MVP Semifinal Slams and a Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam tradition! Slam poets have competed from September through December to qualify for the Most Valuable Poet (MVP) Slam events, which take place every January. Sixteen Poets qualify for the two semi-final slam events, followed by the MVP Finals.
The eight extraordinary poets featured in this second MVP Semifinal Slam are Brother D, Jeannie Nunes, Lawrence Nunes, Lexi Wight, Mr. Orange, Sandy Levy, Toni Rose, and Written In Pain.These slams are super-popular and always feature extraordinary spoken word artistry. The top four poets from tonight, along with the top four poets from the previous semifinal, will move on to the finals on 1/26/25.
