The 890s are a funk rock band out of Somerville – originating during 2020, the majority of the band lived in the same 2 apartment house – creating a basement rehearsal space during the lockdown.The band consists of 8 members and frequent guest performers – including but not limited to drums, bass, guitars, keys, saxophone and multiple vocalists.In April of 2024 The 890s released their first studio single, ‘Waiting’ on Spotify and Apple Music.Check them out on IG and YouTube – @The890s
