Formed by cousins Rocco and Jake DeRosa\, the band creates music that mirrors the emotional connection with their audience\, combining Rocco’s expressive vocals with Jake’s intricate guitar work. Their debut EP\, Basement Springs\, was shaped by industry veterans Brian Scheuble (Stevie Nicks\, Dave Matthews) and Dave Collins (Bruce Springsteen\, Third Eye Blind)\, bringing a polished yet raw sound. Featuring standout tracks like “My Old Radio” and “Winter\,” Leaving Irene’s live shows are an unforgettable experience for fans of both classic rock and indie pop.
