DESCRIPTION:Maison Electornique returns to the Lizard Lounge with the easy synth stylings of Hidden Fountain May 7th!\n\n\n$15/$20 door  \nDoors 7 \nMaison Électronique is an instrumental trio playing original compositions that blend contemporary seben\, highlife\, and sahel guitar styles with Western genres like shoegaze\, surf\, and dub. The group is led by guitarist Nathaniel Braddock. Braddock has traveled extensively in West and Central Africa\, and collaborated with many musicians from Ghana\, Congo\, Zambia\, Uganda\, Mali\, Mozambique\, and Senegal\, as well as US and Australian Indie rock bands. This group is his tribute to those friendships\, running fluidly among the genres to construct a sound that is at once classic as well as strikingly contemporary.  \nBraddock also leads Occidental Brothers Dance Band Int’l\, Trio Mokili\, and Accra Quartet. He is joined by Ugandan bassist Alex Donsal Kateregga and drummer Frank Aveni. The group is based out of the Boston area. The group gets compared to vibey instrumental guitar trios Khruangbin and La Lom\, but with more notes.
