Hailing from Boston, Aaron and the Lord is the new band from Aaron Perrino – the driving force behind The Sheila Divine – along with Multi-Instrumentalist and Record Producer Steven Lord – of the band Dirty Bangs.
The self-titled debut album was produced, recorded and mixed by Steven Lord. The 10-song indie rock joy ride features stunning vocal collaborations from Tanya Donnelly of the bands Belly, Throwing Muses and The Breeders and Mike Bethmann from the unsung Buffalo/Boston band Tugboat Annie. And if that wasn’t enough, several tracks were mixed by Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, Morphine, Hole) and mastered by the peerless mad scientist, Jeff Lipton.
