MUST BE 21+
Cannon and the Boxes is the musical project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cannon Rogers. Based in Athens, GA but spending much of his time on the road as the pedal steel player for psychedelic americana favorites Susto and as a general road-dog-at-large, Rogers own project reflects this passion for making music happen across the country with acoustic guitars and shouted choruses held high. Rogers and the band are currently promoting their debut full-length record, “High Life”, out September 14th; featuring 9 original songs and a cover of Steve Earle tune, C&tB are working to cement themselves in the fuzzed-out-indie folk realm one show at a time.
Eliza Lemmon co-fronts Athens-based alternative folk / indie rock group “lighthearted.” lighthearted songs range from soft and contemplative to upbeat and groovy. Lemmon just moved to the Boston area, and is ecstatic to be a part of the music scene here. Twin sisters Eliza and Gracie have been playing music together since they can remember, but the band officially formed in 2019. They fine-tuned their debut album, releasing four singles in the process that span timbres from introspective and chill to fresh and buoyant. Their debut album, “from here on out,” released on April 21st, 2023. They have been touring the country this year, and plan to keep writing, recording, and touring.
