Girl with a Hawk is an American band formed in 2021. Fronted by singer/songwriter Linda Viens, the band includes Boston rock legends Richard Lamphear on keys, Dan Coughlin on guitar, Nancy Delaney on drums, and Daniel Bernfeld on bass. Described as “gorgeously emotive indie rock with Americana, garage, and punk roots, the band channels influences such as Tom Petty, The Pretenders, Wilco and the Velvet Underground into a sound all their own: melodic, rich and 100% rock.” The band’s latest single, The Romantic, put out on the seminal label Red on Red Records, has held steady in the #1,2, and 3 spot on Indie Radio Stations across the US and the UK since its release on May 12.
