Wood & Bone is an American roots band from the north shore of Boston. The band plays an ever-changing mix of harmony-driven Folk, Americana, Soul and Blues.
Cilla is a working bass player, singer and songwriter. Over the past 15 years she’s played, toured and recorded in numerous projects in Maine, Boston and Los Angeles. In 2020 she released her fourth recording project, ‘August’ with her bandmates Emmett Harrity on keys, Chris Sweet on drums and Peter Herman on guitar. She writes all the arrangements and lyrics. Cilla Bonnie’s music is a blend of R&B-inspired groove and structure similar to Radiohead. In addition to her solo project, Cilla currently plays bass for Boston-based soul artist Ali McGuirk.
Boston area soul rock fave, Mike Hastings fronts the Mike Hastings Band. With all the street smarts that a truly traditional troubadour should possess, Mike proudly wears the title. A strong footing in rhythm and a willingness to give something fragile underpin Mike’s honest and transportive songwriting. When asked, Mike often says that he wants his songs to have the imaginative effect of a painting and that he often has specific visual associations within each song section.
